What is family?

What is family? What does it mean to you? Is it just a mean to get money when you need it?or is it a place for you to unwind,to clear your head,to look for support when times are rough? I remember when me and my family used to get together and just be there with each other,it didnt have to be a birthday,or anniversary,or any kind of special ocassion.we just knew at that time,we needed each other,even when it was to just laugh and cry.I miss that.we have become so preoccupied with how people look at us,or what they would think,or maybe even our status in a certain group,that we have forsaken the place or the group of people that are supposed to be there for us,no matter what. We as people,as human beings need to look within ourselves and think what is more important,my status within a group,or my social standing or maybe is it more important to have the love and understanding of family? The bond of family is breaking,and we need to fix it before it is broken to no repair.lets look past all the superficiality of life and look inside our hearts.God loves all of us.he does not discriminate nor will he ever even think of doing so. we need to also look and think of the love of family and look past it all.

The problem with friendship and organized religion

I really have a problem with the way organized religion works. It seems that if you're not following their strict rules, you're not deem worthy of God's love. That really bothers me. Who are we to judge really? Are we that close minded to think that? It is my belief that God did not intend for it to be so many religions. The Bible was made as a guidance to live a better life while at the same time worshiping God. Yet we have so many religions  that condone war,  are in the middle of politics and truly do not show love for one another. At one point in my life I thought I had many friends, only to find out but they were not truly friends, because when I needed them most, they just weren't there, all because I stop attending their meetings, so therefore I abandoned God and there were no longer my friends. The Bible states clearly that God is love, he will never stop loving us. So why isn't it the same for my brothers fellowship? I love God,and will always love God. And for people to think otherwise, it's foolish and hypocritical. I just hope what we follow God's Love, and not the laws of men.

what is this world coming to???

Just when I thought all was calm and we had no major isues to deal with (other than the boneheads in politics  testing their manhood against one another) I wake up once again to tragedy.It seems that no matter what we do in this world (because the U.S. is the world's "police") we will always be hated.I still remember vividly the attacks on Sept 11,and how all I wanted was for my wife and kids to be safe with me.now this horrible tragedy has  once again awakened my protective senses,and I am ready to pounce anyone who messes with my family.So I begin to think,what do we do so that all this madness ends?many think of war,attack,attack,attack!the other side says "make love not war"... how about this, how about we mind our own business,take care of our own,and stop being the world police?is that so hard?no,because unfortunatedly money makes the world go around. we as human beings we need to begin to take account of all our actions,despite how small they might be.we need to think of what we do and how it affect others.bu most important,we need to show that we care.and as long as we continue to act the way we have been,nothing positive will be accomplished. take care of yourselves,and each other.
